coil overs?
our cars use normal springs with A arms with springs and shocks but the spings are mounted to the a arms behind the struts and are 2 separate parts

coilovers is when the coul is arround the shock/struts and is 1 solid piece

leaf springs are used on solid axels and is just layers of flexible metal

and mcpherson struts are like coil overs dont know the exact differense
and depending on what kinda coil overs and drop you may need a spring compressor

upr sells the kit u just need the struts

and when alot of people get coilovers they eventualy get new k members to reduce weight

Uh...you mean springs? You already have them in your car. Springs = Coilovers. There's another kind of suspension which I think is called leaf springs. Generally they use those kind in old muscle cars and trucks. I think they're more for heavy duty or something. I dont know.

he is not necessarily talking about springs he is talking about a coilover setup which is an upgrade to the macpherson strut setup that comes stock on our stangs. we do NOT have coilovers

Ohhh. Can out mustangs even use those? I've changed out both the shock/struts and the springs and I know they're seperate not together.

u remove the big spring and put it on top/arround the strut and im not sure what struts u use but i could prolly call upr or 50 resto or maxim motor sports or another company that sells them and they would know and if they tell u they dont know then its prolly best not to order from them
yeah you can use coilovers, they make a specific kit to convert 94-04 mustangs from a modified macpherson strut setup to a coilover setup, email the folks at stangsuspension and ask what they recommend, they were very helpful when i did my suspension upgrade
i showed the pic up above its the one with silver springs and blue adjusters u can get from maximummotorsports 50resto upr stangsuspension
and they usualy reccomed a new k to reduce weight but its not needed to to the swap just recomended
