Default opinion on seats... and iside stuff....

I really want new seat for my stang. The old cloth seats are still in great condition but they are "old cloth seat"... they drastically take away from the appearance. SOOOooooo... I was wondering what kind of seats to get. I have a tan interior with the black dash (I think all of them have this) I wanted to run with the black and tan thing but I can't find any black and tan seats that will match. Any suggestions, pics, etc?

Also the steering wheel... it's kinda boring... I paintied the horse on my tan steering wheel black and that adds a little flavor but it's still kinda blah inside. I want people to want to be in my car, instead of always being behind it... jk. I was thinking of trying to put the new 05+ steering wheel on it... do you think this would work? maybe some suggestions otherwise...

Also... in mydash... one of the lights is out. It's not too big of a deal... it's on the beginning of the tack that whole line untill like 3000 rpm line. How easy are those lightbulbs to replace? can you replace them with different color ones?

Call Dannys Upholstry in Belmont area, Downtown Charlottesville. He does incredible work on car interiors. Just take your seats to him or your car too, and tell him what you want, and he should be able to give you a quote. Hes pretty cheap, as well.

Legacyseatcovers.com Very good, theyll make em in cloth/vinyl/neoprene. In any color you want, and they matched mine pretty good. Theyll also send you a sample of their material.

You would have to call him for exact questions, but I know he can do the whole interior. Also, you could get a set of bulstered seats at a junkyard or something from another car, and take them to be covered by dannys or something.

Do like I did and order some Corbeaus! You'll never regret it. 25k miles on mine and they're holding up great and they're really easy to clean.

Can you post some pictures of how yours look in your car? Also, how much are they for cloth? for leather?

I don't remeber what I paid for mine, I got a really good deal on them with the brackets. Go to www.corbeau.com and they list everything, including prices and I think they do free shipping.

Get these and then just put your stock brackets on them. Or take these seats in and have some tan leather added to them to match.

You can get the inside of your coffin lined to match the seats that killed you when you get in a crash too!

I would never go cheap on a safety item, "ebay" seats aren't crash tested and could come apart even at slow speed impacts. A seat breaking in even a small accident can really hurt you, if not kill you. Corbeau's aren't as expensive as Recaro's but aren't dirt cheap either, but they are great for the money, and they are crash tested.
