I have a white 1999 mustang with no tint at all and was wondering what percent of tint I should get on my windows. I want it to look real cool. I was thinking about getting 20% on my front and back but not sure yet. I also would like to get my tail lights tinted too and would like to know what yall think about the percent I should get on those. I heard that the vinyl tint for tail lights are less expensive, but are also cool looking. Just want to know what yall thinks about tinting my windows and the tail lights.

 

i got some sweet tail light, and head light covers from mrbosy kit they are nice becuasse u can pop them on and off when u like. Would recommend a lil pricey but worth it by me 89. per
As far as the tint the darker the better but watch out for the po po

 

My bro has 15% in the back and 20% up front and I have 15% all around. Both look good

 

Trust me my brother got 5% over 5% and that was a really dark tint . He has to lower the windows so se can back out of his parking spot. As for me I got no tint , I like the clean looking window thing..

 

20 is a good number for looks and u normally wont get caught

 

Yeah, I used to have 5%. I have 20% now, and I love it. I wouldnt change it at all. The only time it looks really dark is around dawn or dusk, thats when Ive had trouble with cops.

ive got 20 too, i love it. its the perfect % between too dark and too light

 

I dont understand the no tint thing. I always see it on honda civics. My city is too damn hot to be driving around without tint.

 

What is the legal limit where you live? Do that much.
Minehas 35%. Sometime you can see in more than others depending on how the light hits it.
