allas the time has come. im going to get rid of my '00 3.8
im pretty confident that i can get at least $7K for it.
seeing as how it only has 60K mi and is an auto.
my question to you guys is wat would you do next
as i see it i have two options
1. Get a good fox, for around $3.5k and have $3.5k for mods
or
2. Sell it riase another $7k and get a 2003-2004 Mach 1
ur opnions r apreciated.

I say get the old 5.0, although again, I'm a little biasts.
The 5.0 will be cheaper on both insurance, and overall cost. If you get a Mach 1, sure, you'll have a decently fast car out the box, but the money that's gonna be spent on just the insurance is nuts, then the money needed for mods, if you choose to do so, adds up quick.
The 5.0 will be easier to repair, cheaper to mod, and over all, just cheaper to own.

The Mach is a much better car. 2v 225hp 5.0 vs 4v 305 hp 4.6... It's not hard. Also, Fox body 5.0's handle like bricks stock. If you can swing insurance and payments (if you finance or whatever), definately go for the Mach. Plus, no 5.0 (Fox or early sn95) will ever look as good as a Mach, IMO.

Insurance varies everywhere and with everyone...You can never get an accurate read on what your going to pay until you actually get a quote and begin to pay it.
With my '01 sixer I pay $230 a month, and I just got a quote for a 410ci '94gt for $180 a month.
And on the subject of the car, I suggest the Mach 1 if you can raise the money and financially keep yoursef in line, otherwise go with the five oh.

That's comparing a new V6 to a newer Mach 1, so the difference will be there, but not as much as people think, however, the difference between a 5.0 and a Mach 1 is huge.
go 5.0. especially a 4 eye
. cheaper ,lighter, more inches to work with. and they dont handle like bricks [>:]. just put suspension all around and foxes will be a decent solom car.
