WOOT! ON ITS WAY!!!
ok, in a previous post i had brought up, i was talking about what route would be better and so far people agree more with an s/c set up....no dont get all excited people, i dont have an s/c on its way....i wish.....i realize that its gonna take a pretty penny to get one and install it so i'm doing the next best thing and thats all the bolt-ons i can do to make my car more beefy
i got a BBK CAI on the way and i'm excited! now i was wondering, since my car is a stick, should i still opt to get a tuner and if so, what would be a good brand? i really didnt think u had to tune a stick

you do realize that in the end, the cost of all the boltons will be in the same ballpark, if not more than it would be to buy a cheap SC? and the power you get from said boltons will be far less than what you would get from a blower.
+1
Bolt ons really don't do much for the cost. The CAI is a good way for you to get aquainted with your engine, but don't expect to see any real gains with one. I'd go ahead and get my exhaust done next, and after that, screw the rest and save up for an S/C. A tuner will also come in handy down the road.

i wouldnt tune it until u had a cai, true dual exhaust full not just a catback, coil, wires, maybe some head work, and pulleys, and maybe some added nitrous or something if ur a risk taker....in my opinion its not worth getting a car tuned with 2 bolt ons..
