engine book
the haynes book has most everything you need to strip and rebuild an engine, although there are some procedures that require a little "technique" not always explained in that book.
there are also, from time-to-time, shop manuals on e-bay that sometimes fill-in the gap with specs and diagrams more extensive than the haynes manual.
