My passenger and driver side windows have some sticky film residue leftover from when the tint was removed. Any suggestions on how to safely clean this off?

Use a heat gun and wipe it off.

Related... Whats the best thing to use when cleaning windows like after you wash a car? Even better, something that removes water spots? My car always looks so nice after I wash it, but then I get to all the glass and it's all water spotted and looks like crap...

I actually just use the cheap wind shield wash fluid you get at gas stations (you know, the stuff that sprays when you put your wipers on). Works better than and high quality window cleaner I've ever used. Just put it in a spray bottle and off you go.

that glue sucks, only way i did it was constantly spraying it down with windex and using a flat razor to scrape all the old glue off. it took a while but thats what i did

i use bio-clean water spot remover on the outside when there are built up residue spots and windex with vinegar and newspaper on the inside its a detailing trick keep it rotated so it doesnt fall apart from the moisture but it works well also from keeping it spot from washing use a shammy to dry it well then wipe the windows with a cleaner like windex and as for the glue heat gun (hair dryer) or a razor yea

Ammonia will remove all the remaining adhesive. It's the absolute best thing to use for removing tint. That's why you're not supposed to use regular windex on tinted glass, the ammonia will make it peel.

For genereal cleaning, I use Stoner Invisible Glass. You can get it at wal-mart.

To remove water spots, use hot White Vinegar, it will take all the spots off.

I always put a coat of Rain-X on all my glass, mirrors too, whenever i get done detailing the car.

in the paint? hmmm best i know would be a really good waxing with a good quality wax i use meguires personally other than that if you have really re4ally bad ones id say a new clear coat b/c they could be from high acidity in the rain or if water sits on the car in the direct sun for a long time its like a magnifying glass to ants and burns little holes allll in your paint
