Well I can tell you right now that autobadges will not take you, and neither will carbonware. Why you ask? That's easy. You have to have a car that's already either fairly well off into the show grade area, or is decently fast. I mean think about it, if you owned a buisiness, what type of car would you want your name on, a car that looks stock, and performs like a stock vehicle, or a car that's totally wild, and can turn heads at the track? In other words, you have to dump money into your car, usually, loads of money, before most sites will even consider you for sponsorships of any type. Most people that obtain sponsorships usually start off with partial sponsorships, which is nothing more than a discount sponsorship, and will have to earn their way into full grade sponsorships. Usually it takes at least a killer paint job and some body work, or some light body work, dress up work, with a killer engine to even be considered with so many cars seeking sponsorships now a days.

tell you the truth, sponsorships are overrated. You car has to be in immaculate condition, show worthy, and run 9's. By then you wouldnt need any parts/accessories from anyone as its already done. The only thing that might come in handy is if they pay your entry fees and transportation to tracks/carshows.

That pretty much hit the nail on the head. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a sponsorship on a paintjob, but your car already has to have some great mods done. Generally speaking, you'll only really get sponsored once your car has some *****, but their are some tricks

Paint Sponsor: Buy a body kit and have it ready for install, your car will need some nice engine work (S/C usually handles that one right off the bat), some interior dress ups, preferrably some seats or covers, and some engine bay dress ups.

Performance Sponsors: Your car has to have a show grade body with some nice interior work, no questions asked. Generally it helps to already have some performance work done like N2O, or an S/C.

Dress Ups Ineterior and Exterior: Pretty easy to get, and is a starting place for most people. A lot of sites are looking to give basic sponsorships on dressups, however, you can't get in with a stock car, yet again, performance work, some body work/dress up pieces, and minor interior work will be needed

Body Kit Sponsors: This is a very tough one to get as your car will have to be fairly well off. Gernally it takes a totally clean looking car to get this sponsorship along with the ***** to back it up. Probably harder to get than a paint job sponsorship in some aspects, it's easy to get discounts for, but full sponsorships are rare.

Go to local places and get them to sponser you, thats the best way. When you write people dont ask for parts, first tell them about you and your car. Your future plans, and shows. Then ask if they would like to help you out and donate some parts. Go to manufactures, not suppliers.(BBK instead of autobadges). TELL THEM WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP THEM OUT!!!! Sponsers are easy to get. Also ask if they would like to donate parts, or give a discount.
