Besides the 17inch wheels, and the hood scoop and foglights, are they any other differences between a GT and a V6 as far as exterior body goes? Do GT's have a more wide front end and lower front or is it the same exact car just with the fog lights , hood scoop, and bigger tires?

Nope, and they also came with the chrome headlights and different spoiler.

 

late 01 cars had the newer transmission, 6disk mach460, newer spoiler, hood scoop, side scoop. like my car

 

on the s197's, they also have painted side skirts, 6s have black

Just a correction:

99-00 GTs don't have hood scoops or side scoops, but the 01-04 GTs do. Also, starting in the 2001 year is when all Mustangs have smoked headlamps.
