Hi all Will just adding a new muffler say a Flowmaster 40 seriesto you standard single pipe give you a better sound.

 

Yes, but I would look into a Magnaflow. I put a pair of them on my 99 v6 and they sound much better than the Flowmaters in my opinion.

listen to some clips before you buy. it would be best if you coudl find a couple v6 mustangs to lisetn to in person. some people like mags some like flows. there was one member on here who got dual mags and a week later spent the money to put flows in instead because he hated the sound. as for it being better with just the one muffler, yes it will be better but not that much. it will be pretty quiet.
