Default Goodbye sixers!

Well, my v6 is going into storage and will be stripped of parts. No none of them are for sale, so dont ask.

This is my new daily driver, a 1999 Ford Taurus. Power: 108 kW , 145 HP @ 5,250 rpm; 170 ft lb , 231 Nm @ 3,250 rpm

Google picture because my cameras ****ed so il snap one tomorrow.

I need the extra space and better gas milage for my highschool life style. Il be back in the mustang scene with a terminator around graduation, around may.

hahah believe it or not im putting tints, my stock 16 inch chrome mustang rims, and maybe a universal exhaust on it.

Why would you put your mustang in storage and strip it? That doesnt make any sense!

I guess if you need to save some gas money by driving that horrid taurus, then maybe you should reconsider the terminator.

Because the sixer has 1 or two pieces i want for my terminator, such as the hood and rims and possibly a few other things liek the stage 3 clutch. The car is going to be given to my brother in a year or two, and gas really isnt a problem at all, its just a plus to save money for now untill my job starts back up in april. Plus the extra room, and no clutch to deal with in traffic is sooo nice. Dont worry the car will still be drivable, im just done driving it and especially modding it.

Oh and believe me, i know how much of a peice of crap this thing is, i just thought it was funny and i wanted to share with you guys it. Its still a ford!

i still dont understand why you cant just drive your car around until graduation time and swap out the parts at ur own leisure or right before you get a termi... you have a 5spd.. be gentle on the gas pedal and keep your car in a higher gear.. and you cant afford gas but you could afford your 18x9/10 black saleens along with ur hood and a saleen body kit? and you probably have exhaust and a short throw shifter and intake at the least??

idk.. you have too much money to begin with IMO. whats another at most $20 a week in gas??

poor excuse to get a taurus..

Who doesn't want a Taurus...[&:]lol

How are affording a Terminator from a V6 Mustang?

Are we going to hear about a highschool graduate that was killed when his 2004 Mustang Cobra lost control and hit a tree at 120+mph in about 5 months?

Yeah, at most. Honestly, how far is your high school from your house?

I guess do what you want, I just hate to see such a nice car sit in storage while the gaskets get hard.

whao whao whao listen its not like im buy the thing, weve had it sitting in our drive way for years and nobody is using it. So its not like im buying it or paying for it. Its just a more comfortable ride with more room. And i was looking forward to driving it. Also, its not all about the money, its just about a more comfortable ride, thats one of the only reasons i would do it. Yes i have plenty of money for my family to be driving 2 cobras, 3 other cars, and soon a z06, but it NEVER hurts to save money. Just because i have it doesnt mean i dont save when i can. And driving that stage 2 clutch sucks donkey ***** in the winter traffic, especially with 1000 dollar tires on there with NO traction.

We got the taurus back from the shop about 2 hours ago, and it has way to many problems to even be usefull. So it looks as if i wont even be driving it anyway. And it was just an idea i thought would be nice, to have a comfortable ride around town and not half *** leather seats with no room but to sit.

And even though im embarrased to admit it, i cant hide it from you guys.... the more i think about it the more i like my sixxer then before. I see it every day and am so sick of it, but then when i hear compliments it makes me realize im lucky to have what i do have. And im glad the tuarus pooped out so im stuck with my sixer. I still have mach 1 suspension laying around to put on it to!

So to sum things up, i really appreciate the input, and i guess i just see it differently then you guys do. But im keeping the sixer and im going to clean it up a bit and take more pride then i do! And its thanks to you guys, because honestly my v6 pride is at a low right now. And dont you dare think that just because im a teen and have a 400+ hp car means im going to **** around. I drive my dads all the time, i have dead friends due to the very same thing, and cars are not toys.
