Default Problem again...HELP!

OK, I just got this guy install me a white gauge and everything was fine.....until few hours later. Now, my rpm needle barely moves and the spedometer needle doesn't even move. He charged me $120....im gonna go back and choke him! What should I do with the new gauge and the needles?!

+1 haha. i did gauges on my first car and it was the biggest flaw in my car.. the needles kept popping out. i KNEW the speedo wasnt exactly correct so that annoyed me.. it was just a hassle. never again will i do gauges

but anyway, take it back and tell him to fix it.. for $120 it better be perfect

Odds are the needles are touching the face of the gauges ... no biggie. Definitely go back & make him fix it. Even better ... get a refund & fix it yourself. Either way, take it remedial (SLOW) until you get them fixed.

I almostchokedthat guy, I gave him the money, exchange fewnottoo goodwords and just left!
but what should I do now, I can see the speed and rpm needles are touching the gauge...could I just get a screw and lift the needles a bit, maybe only 1mm?! And its pissing me off because sometimes it works perfect!

yea, the needles are probalby just barely touching the gauges. just pull up on them a tiny bit and it should be better. by the sound of things though, the guy probably didnt even do it right and they gagues are probably way off anyway. after you fix the current problem let us know if the speed or tach seem way off.
