Pretty much anything will work, I have 18x9 in front and 18x10 rear, I also run 17x10.5 rears on 315's.

Your sig shows the 16" stockers, they're a nice compromise of rotating mass vs. low profile tires. My car had the 15" stockers ... nice rims but waaaay too much sidewall for cornering. I went with the lowering (springs, shocks/struts, isolators) first (best bang for the buck -handling/braking/cornering performance and better stance/appearance). Just my opinion (everybody's got one).

1" larger wheels will raise the car's clearance .5" but also fill the wheel wells better. So if you go from like 16 to 18", you'll raise the car 1". I'd get the new wheels and then access your lowering needs...

Uh, NO!

It's the diameter of the tire that affects a change in ride height. A 15" wheel and an 18" wheel can have the exact same tire diameter, which is how it's supposed to be done.

So it has no bearing on drop.
