Hello all. I just bought a '98 v6 yesterday. While driving it home, I noticed something on the dash. To the left of the stearing wheel, there is a rectangular cut-out. It looks like there should be some sort of cap on it or a logo or something. Can anyone tell me what this is? Thanks.

Are you talking about the switch to turn on the headlights?

 

It's the rear defrost button. If just the button broke off or if you need the whole switch you can get either at latemodelrestoration.com.
