How Long...
How Long and How hard is it to install lambo doors? Its a bolt-on and needs NO welding or drilling and ill be putting my car in my garage within 2 weeks to start putting them on, im going to a show on the 16th, and will order them the 10th...Any way i can get them on that fast? Also, what brand of spark plugs/wires do you feel are the best?
welll it should probably take you zero seconds to put the lambo doors on.. BECAUSE, lambo doors dont belong on a mustang... some lambos dont even have lambo doors on them.. my cousin has them on his stang and what a waste of money they were.. the doors are like 100 pounds and a girl cant even lift them if she wanted to get in the car.. also they are a hassle with shutting correctly.. put that money into that 5spd tranny swap that you want to do..
i have no idea what spark plugs are good or not

Ok, I had to go "Advanced," quick reply wouldn't cut it.

Alright first first off get used to "how long and hard" it's gonna be, because by doing this, the queerest of mods, is just taking any little bit of gay you may or may not have and just puting it out there for the world to see.
"Lambo doors" don't even come on lambo's anymore. You don't own a Lambo, so why emulate one? If you want to emulate an exotic, then put some REAL work into your car and make it carve up a track or haul a$$ at blistering acceleration. Just because some retard on EBAY or whatever non-reputable place you purchased this kit from says it's a "bolt-on" doesn't mean it's safe or even worth doing.
You frame is not designed to handle the entire weight of one door pivoting vetically on one central point, you're just asking for severe stress cracks and structural damage. You also don't come off as a pro body-shop guy, so good luck getting the door getting the door to even align properly once you install this hack job of a door kit you purchased.
If you plan on going to a show, and you think that is gonna be what makes your car win, then try entering it into the DOMESTIC category where only real mods count. If that sounds too difficult, then by all means sell me your stang so i can prevent it from becoming completely ruined and unusable, and I will gladly assist you in finding whatever cheap family sedan I can for you to rice out and even hook you up with my buddy who own's a sign shop so you can get it all sticekred out. Then you can slap a cheap set of 17's on it, slam it with an EBAY coil-over kit, have 27* of negative camber all the way around, and I got a folgers can ready to go to finish off the exhaust. We'll then prime a body kit in 4 different colors, none of which match the car or the stickers, and then slap on that vertical door kit and call it a "SHO-STOPPA!!!"
Just take our advice, don't do it, give us an idea of what you already have done and let us guide you out of the "HOT IMPORTS NIGHTS' LIGHTS" and over to the pro-tree lights where mustangs belong. We're more than happy to recommend "next step" mods depending on which way you want to go with the car, wether it's showing, or going or both.

Hmm, I really didn't go as crazy as i thought I would, guess its cuz I'm hungry. I'm goin to eat. Have fun!

i do agree with all of the other posts but here is some helpfull advice if you do go through with it anyway.
there is almost no way you will get them in time if you order them that late. the 10th is a friday and most places dont ship on sat and almost nobody ships on sundays. that gives you 3 days before the show for them to even get to you. dependin on the company it could take that long for them to ship the things.
when you do get them. i would plan on spending an entire day on it. it may seem simple but anything custom is always a pain in the *** and takes longer than expected. you will have to align the door and deal with any problems you might run accross and all kinds of stuff.
my last word of advice, if you buying lambo doors you better be spending 1-2k on them. buying the cheap kits is a bad idea because they are just that. cheap. that is where you will run into the most problems. not only when you install them but in the long run things will break and nothing will work like it is suppose to. the cheap kits will also cause problems like hpwrestler was talking about. the shocks..if it even comes with any, will go bad fast or not be rated for that much weight and then your stuck lifting up a big heavy door that doesnt like to stay up like its suppose to.
ok actually there is one other thing. be prepared to yell at anybody getting in and out of your car because (ive never had them but i hear this is a problem) people tend to try to lift the doors straight up and pull straight down to open and close them. this doesnt work at all and will scratch and break things. they need to be opened out then up and they need to be pushed down then in like a normal door to close them.
