thats dedication!

keep this in mind- LS1 cars will be around forever, but your 6 is the only one that holds the match to your memories.

I'd get the Camaro, all around better car, faster, better mpg, reliable, what more needs to be said. Granted they look like a fish, but a few dress ups can fix that problem.

While the GN is nice, that "IS NOT" a car you should even remotely consider. That type of car is a project car, nothing more. Cars that old, hell even mines age, require lots of money in maintenance and repairs to keep in tip top shape for continuous daily use. The older the car, the bigger the risk reguardless of miles, because time itself takes its tole on the small things, like A/Cs, electrical wires, sensors, metal pieces, metal brackets/braces, etc.

The Cobra would also be a nice buy, but 10K is just too much imo, especially considering the Camaro is cheaper, and gets better mpg, not to mention faster.

Now the upside to your old sixer is you know what you're getting, no suprises unless you're buddy did something to screw up the car, however, you'll be back in the same ball park with a car that leaves you wanting much, much more.

OP Are you kidding? LS1 100% They are fast from the factory and respond amazingly to Bolton. But i wouldn't get a camaro, I would get a trans am or firebird, and if all possible a WS6.

id love a black on black WS6, but im trying to find something for under ~10k cause id also like to get my own place sometime within the next few months. most of the T/As ive found that i can afford and like are LT1s, which, i really wouldnt mind either, im just trying to figure out even though an fbody is faster, my stang was fast then my old 92 camaro which was my first real "HP car" and i probably miss that even more then the stang, but in order to track that down i have to talk to my mother and step father and i dont talk to those low lifes. I think im going to go drive the LS1 and see if it puts me to the point with a big **** eating grin

damn i need like a 4 or 5 car garage lol

according to the site they sold the black one, but they have another one with 60k

i looked you can get the cobra for 6-8 thousand then get the kit for around 3000, or you can build the kit for less.

What type of turbo kit are you talking about, I have never seen one for less than 5k you may be able to build a kit yourself for about 3.5k using a lot of used components.

Get the GN. Drive it to my house. Park it. get in my Mercedes 190D that get 38+ mpg and drive back home. Dont forget to leave me the keys to the GN.
