Who won?
Ok I know there was a thread about not to post "me vs...." here, but this is different.
A s197 V6 is tailing me all the time and we get at the same time on the highway. Once we got there, he goes to the left lane ond hit it, and pull up for like a whole car. I stay in the middle lane and I floor it (i had my o/d off). I catch up with him very fast and start pulling up. So i was maybe 2-3 cars ahead, when my 4.10 comes to play! As much as it helped me in the beginning, it ruined me later. So at about 110mph (thats what my speedo showed, but not accurate) he just walks by me and is gone. So who won, or is it a draw...lol?
P.S. I know street race is not safe and i don't really practice it, but this was too tempting.

So is there any way to fix that top speed limit?
Yes 4.10 suck big time on on the freeway, I can get walked by anyone. But from a dig they are awesome! And how about 3.73, are they similar to 4.10?

Well 3.55s here (or so I was told, even though I came up with 3.73 when I did the test myself) and I get 21/22 MPG mostly hwy driving, and the car has pretty much instant boost whenever I need it, however I'm dealing with different power than most of you guys, but I can at least comment on the MPG considering stock 5.0s get around 24ish on a good day considering engine wear, long term maint., etc.

Well for me, I get roughly 24 or 25 mpg on the freeway with my 3.73s. The speed side is okay. Ill have great acceleration up until 90mph then it pretty much slooooows down. Which is fine because going that fast is way uneccessary.
