man that sucks. put a trans cooler on it this time around so it has less of a chance of happening again

 

Mmm, turns out it wasn't that, I feel kind of retarded to say this, but it was a spark plug wire that had laid over the EGR hose and melted to it, caused it be short and behave VERY oddly :s

yea mine is an auto. when i checked my tranny fluid was extremely low.

it was running ok under normal driving conditions but when i floored it it made like a screeching noise and car lost power, rpms dropped. after i added some lucas tranny fix it didnt help.
i was driving home last night and it was barely running it felt like the car was stuttering

 

how long do you think you were running with it that low?

 

if you were running it low on fluid there is a good chance something is messed up.

 

yea. i cant even remember the last time i checked it. im possibly taking out a $2000 loan to rebuild my tranny and have some money left over.... "for college" lol
