Yeah those old boats get pretty decent gas mileage.

 

Finally going to be getting my longtubes and midpipe installed soon. Hopefully this upcoming week. Going to the track wednesday before I get them installed so I can see how much the new heavy rims slowed me down and then how much I pick back up with the full exhaust. Just need to order some mil's. Anyone know where I can get some cheaper than $60 on AM?

Hey everyone! How is everyone? I'm on and off again I know. I don't have internet at the house currently had to cut back on some things. Anyway whats new with everyone? I haven't done a ton to the car lately just started putting the cobra brakes on. Have the backs on and waiting on my friend to get his wheels on his 03 cobra so I can have his stock with 10" in the rear. and another buddy is hooking me up with some cats he's has from work, considering a few other things I have the possibility of getting my hands on a zex kit fo free or cheap so it may get put on by mustang week. Speaking of mustang week is anyone going?

I got my valve covers back on. I made short work of the paint after I figured out a way to get the PC off. Gasket Remover at Napa works great for it(couldve just been a bad coat job tho). Next up is to paint the rusty exhaust pipes black(for now). Then paint the hats on the front rotors since they are rusty.

Basically paint and cleaning is in order for my car before June 19th(my car clubs show and shine).

Also putting my car in the burnout contest this year since I was at the lake last year. I got some stock rims/tires that can be put to some use for this.

 

I'll be going to mustang week..hoping to have saleen wing, gt rear, and cobra side scoops installed by mustang week.
