I'm allowed to get something my dad doesn't think/know is fast haha. If I could find one I could get a V6 6 speed accord. But looking at the 2.4 for reliability now. Nothing with a turbo/supercharger, no rwd, haha theres pretty much a list now. I had a 99 civic lx as my first car, so not complaining. I kindof liked it actually.

 

The stang was reliable? :/

I say just go for an Exploder with the 4.0

 

marauader, 05+ CV, Impala SS or monte carlo SS with the 3.8SC

 

CV? Yeah the stangs reliable but its not the best DD in New england and has over 100k now.

 

Explorer Sport with the SOHC. Auto or 5 speed - both are fun.

personally I've driven two, 2000 exploder sports, both with the "automatic" 4wd setup, but one with the 5 speed and one auto, maybe the automatic was a lemon, but it wasn't fun to drive at all :/ the 5 speed was nice though

IMO, marauder is a good choice. luxobarge. cant even call it a performance car , since its 4000 lbs.
