No no no. There was supposed to be 5 guys on the flight to the camp im stayin in. But only 4 were on it. The other 4 guys on my crew went home. I stayed and am gonna work for another week. I got a raise(went from Roughneck to Motorhand) and I get to see daylight for the first time in 2 weeks. I went from working nights to working days. Hella tight. Only thing that is gay is that I wake up for breakfast, Id much rather get off work and eat breakfast.
And six... yes I is making the money. The money that is gonna be spent putting boost into das auto.

Personally, nights are better. Less people come to the rig.
The Rig Manager has me running ragged doing a buncha **** for him. It felt like I was being pulled in 16 directions for the first 4 hrs of my shift today. Then everything smoothed out for a few hours, then I got told to do this and this and this and this again. On top of everything, the Volvo L90E loader we use to carry all the **** we cant hand bomb ran out of fuel in the morning and we couldnt get it started all day. Put fuel in it, primed the pumps, sprayed ether in it, didnt not want to fire up.
But I only have 3 more shifts then I get 2 weeks off.
