Okay so question guys. I really only want lower my accord a little, like maybe an inch up from and .75 out back. Tein makes h-tech springs that give slightlyy more than this drop but they're like $160. My feelings is if its, only an inch drop or less could I try just cutting a coil off? I ask because it has a different spring setup than the mustang did, its basically a coil over setup so I need a spring compressor to do it. But I feel like it can't hurt, worse that happens is I pay for the $160 springs if the ride isn't great on cut stockers. I asked about it on the accord forum and got flammed for being a "ricer" and ill be bouncing down the road and blah blah blah from guys I assume that have never done it or seen it done.
Sure is a big truck to clean. I had to do a full detail on one of these when I was working at the dealership http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...1t:429,r:2,s:0
Yeah that was no two hour flat rate job. I plan on doing that to my accord this week over spring break, along with changing the oil and transmission fluid and hopefully getting my fog lights put in finally. New rims possibly this weekend too
Any word on the lowering question?

Thats what I'm thinking. If I can figure out when my buddy has a day off this week and rent a spring compressor then I'll give it a shot, cut like 1 off the front and .75 off the back and see what happens. Never used a spring compressor before. So I get the idea, clamp the spring in place before taking the top hat off..but then when I want to cut the spring how do I release it from the compressor? Is there something on it that slowly lets them decompress?
