took the Mustang for a drive today, actually was able to roll the windows down too!!

got it back in the driveway and rinsed it off with water to get the salt grime off!!

 

Alex do you have Pete's performance number? Was going to text you for it but I don't believe I have it in this phone

Also heard a loud pop yesterday followed by a knocking sound.... Just about had a mental break down until I popped the hood to realize it was the rad fan

My IAC is acting al sorts of BS. Wont idle in gear, then I fix it so it DOES idle in gear, now i had to fix it again and it wont idle in gear again.

 

Was never IAC- Trans is fragged. **** YOU BAMA. instaled their tune at 65k, 72k now and the trans is suddenly ****ed. A stock sixxer shouldnt kill a 4R70W in that time.

 

How is your car a stock sixxer though? Did i miss something, as i thought you had a m112?

 

I had about 27 miles on it with the M112 before the trans started these issues. One pull once it was tuned. All last year, it was in the garage sorting out vacuum issues and putting around town for shakedown. Got it tuned Nov1, drove it that monday for inspection then trans went.

 

I installed my mgw, cooling fan went, car got a little warm on the factor guage but was about 3/4, new fan now and ac compressor is making weird noises and pissing out freon now, and I had a random puke of coolant today

Poorly tuned vehicles kill trannys (not trying to say anything bad about bama I've never used them) but I would of done vmp , time for a stall and shift kit though

Have you ever serviced the trans Alex?

Mustang unrelated but I got a new x4 for the super duty and I'm having issues with it, I'm sending it back to sct this week to have them program it for me , which they are covering

 

Trans was serviced at 65k, new fluid and filter. My mechanic said I didnt really need it though, surprisingly.

But right now Im going to see rebuild cost- pending cost, I may go with a reman or JY trans with a better stall. Or a stick swap.
