so is it the same as what SSM sells for the sixxers

 

looks to be, or close. Not sure of the exact specs of SSM's off the top of my head. Why don't you just buy from them?

 

just trying to see if i can get things a lil cheaper... by the way how much was the bore and hone on your block.. aslo how much was to assemble the short block

 

Bore and hone - $175
square deck - $125
short block assembly(along with checking all clearances and and file fitting the rings) - $300

My total bill from the machine ship was $1.2k

Places like SSM, Delk, and RPM have found all the right parts for you, plus they offer custom pistions which eliminate or reduces wear on the pistion skirts, lower compression, extended valve relief, etc... You can save a buck by shopping around and buying from different stores here and there, or you can know you are getting quality parts that are the right parts from one of the places listed.
