Idk if this is the right section for this........but anyways........ive got a 02 v6 with the 5spd a complete exhaust(LTs, h and all that and about to be SCTd) and Ive got a "buddy" who has a 98 auto v6 with duals and a tlok(no gears). Here's why Im pissed..me and my girl where riding around and we went and talked to him and his 14year old(hes 19) gf. We talk 4 a bit and another buddy with a 04 auto with a welded rear end comes and tries to talk us into running(Ive beat them both numerous times), the dude with the 98 starts saying his car with minimal mods picks the front passenger tire up 6inches and carries it for 30'..i got an uncle with an 03 cobra and idt it picks the tires up like this v6 'does'.. Then the **** talking starts about my car and how its the slowest v6 ever made(he had to look manly in front of his lady) so we decided to run em this weekend. How much $$$ should i throw out??

Ive got a buddy with a 98 v6 auto stang who picks the front tires up 6inches when he takes off hard. He wants to race my car but don't want me to drive

 

SO.... His car raises up 6 inches at take off....... and its a V6 98 auto..... I call BS on that.

You both have good exhaust with you having a slight edge with the LT's, more so with a tune. But with him having a T-lock he will have a better traction from a dig. BUT, the fact that you are a new edge and he is a SN-95 means you got a extra 40hp on him.

OF course its a auto vs. a stick so you have always got the driver mod to think about.

And he wants to race your woman? Why?

He wants to race her cause she told him that he couldn't lift the tires if he was driving in reverse then slammed it into drive..and he dont think she can drive a 5spd

 

And the thing about him pickn the tires up he believes that cause one of our buddies with a notchback 5ohhhh was bsn with him and its went to heart.
