stangant's engine build thread
yea and really good if you go to the store and a car jacker can't figure out y it has no power.. or battery.. haha
Well a tune date has been set, hope nothing goes wrong or gets in the way this time. Although life is already doing that to me by leaky head gaskets on my DD.. mx-3 fail.

I should do an update just so everyone that may care to know does... I am currently getting it all ready for being a driver again. I had an issue with the coil pack so that has been replaced and current data logs suggest everything is well. I will be getting the exhaust done professionally soon and hopefully back for a final tune soon. I will be staying a water/meth injected 12psi on 93 octane. The custom water/meth tank is currently being made and should be here soon.
Here is a little how to: I wanted to find out how to hook up some things to my livewire and one of those was a GM 3 bar map sensor as that is a preset in it for datalogging. So after some extensive research and some help from a buddy this is what I was able to come up with.
Diagram: Now the wire colours can vary on the firewire port, and the zener diode does not get included into the circuit.

some pictures from today, took the pics early washed it and it got to dark to take more..

as you can see the hood still wasn't big enough in the rear so I had to notch it.

Still a messy engine bay but I will be cleaning it up. I have also been able to install the remote water/methanol tank filler location. Can you spot it.?

With the new pulley installed I have seen 11psi on test runs so I will see how it performs once I get it tagged and on the road again.
