Not sure who posted what, but I saw some bad info here.

1. Not all 99 Cobras had teksid blocks. Only some did. I forgot the breakpoint. The earlier 99's did.

2. All 4v's except for the auto Mach's have a forged crank. The 03/04 Cobra is the only one with forged everything. But 96-01 Cobras have forged cranks, all 96-98's have a teksid block, and some 99's had a teksid block.

 

Well a little update on my car situation.. I've started looking at 05 and up GTs and various different Chevy cars and trucks.
Off topic: I left my girlfriend so I'm definitely either going the v8 route or building the sixxer.

 

Build the sixxer you ***. Or buy a 03 Silverado SS.

 

Yea my dad would cut me off from the "family fortune" if I got a Silverado. Few friends are saying build the six...but none are calling me a *** you douche lol

 

hahaha it wasn't a personal attack. Its taking the easy way out if you buy a 4V. What if you bought a Dodge? Or do you come from a Ford family?

 

I was just playing along lol. I hate Dodge so that's a no. I come from a Chevy/Toyota family so parking the mustang in the yard cost me some family points lol. Are the Chevy colorados any good?
