Default Shaun's mini-"build" thread

Not building anything like any of your build threads but I figured I won't have to steal other peoples threads since I have this lol. Its nothing crazy but I got a few new things for the Mustang and bought some more with christmas money. I just wanted to start this to update my progress and keep some pictures in one place. So onto the list...

14 inch antenna (had one my dad snapped it one cold day)
Glossy black rear lower Roush vinyl
17 inch Satin 03/04 Cobra rims with svt center caps and new Sumi all season
Chrome acorn lug nuts with one locking on each rims
VAPauto intake spacer
Bullitt Pedals
8000K HID's
03/04 cobra front bumper
03/04 cobra chin spoiler and foglights
Custom tune for the spacer.

The rims are on but I haven't had a nice and warm enough day to wash the car and clean it up for some pics. Still have to put the nice lug-nuts on. If all goes well and I can pick up some hours at my old restaurant job then I will have my spoiler painted black like the mach 1 style to match the rear lower vinyl. If not now, then possibly for my birthday in April but I have a few ideas floating around. The bumper will be painted and installed by the end of the month. The fog lights will be on too however I am waiting on Justin at VMP who said he is working on a plug and play system to wire and connect 03/04 cobra to a V6. He says it should be done by the end of January. I will upgrade the fogs to HID's one day as well but for now just the normal H10 Luminics lights. I'm kindof pissed I don't have enough money for the 8.8 swap I wanted so that will have to wait till next christmas with some 4.10's probably. Excited to get the intake spacer and tune because I haven't really added any performance stuff in awhile so that will be good. Its supposed to help in low-end tq which should be good for my dd. Thanks for reading.

Cars gonna look goooooooood!

So is this gonna be the last of look-fast before you go-fast? Starting with the 8.8 swap?

Yeah it'll look faster than it is. But the speed will come no worries, all in due time. After these appearance mods next on the list is 8.8 with 3.73's or 4.10's, udp, aluminum driveshaft, longtubes, pnp upper and lower. Nothing crazy but it'll be putting down more power and hoping to break into 14's with that setup if I have some decent tires at the time. I'm positive I can hit 15's with the intake spacer/new tune. Already got the 14 inch one, its short enough for me. Its just about lines up with the top of the windshield.

Well we got 6 inches of snow last night and this morning which makes it tough to do much work with it being 15 degrees.

Good choice on the 14". It looks nice when it's flush with the roof line... the 8" antenna is too small for me.

Heck, i still have the stock antenna. It doesn't bother me one bit

I wish I had of gotten the 14" instead of the 8". Sounds like everything will be looking nice with your ride Shaun. Get it everything installed wash in it an take pics when mother nature permits without freezing your *** off.

Yeah, just stopped snowing. But it should all be done by the end of the month. I'll see if I can dig up some pics from when I first got the car, and I'll post those up too.

Get 6000K HID lights. I personally can't stand 8000k. Looks like ricer blue. Haha 6000k is the perfect blend of each, with just a very very subtle hint of blue.
