Hey btw, do you have any wheel rubbing?

I have some BAD wheel rubbing with my 99' GT 17x8 wheels. 245/45 if I remember right.
They rub without even being maxed out steering or suspension wise.

I know that the 03/04 Chassis had extra notching to prevent rubbing and the Termi has rack stops too to keep the 17x9 wheels from rubbing.

Do you know where to notch the chassis for the extra clearance and if I have to use the 03/04 inner fender wells?

I guess I could try wheel spacers too.

What does the Guru say?

Nice vids man. I like the car better with the black wing personally. I hope to get to a few local events this summer just to give it a shot. I'm sure my stock brakes and all season tires will help haha.

What is rubbing? The inside of the rim on the control arm, or tire on fender lip/ fender liner?

I have only had a problem with the rim rubbing on the back of the control arms. Even with my 275/40r17 Hoosier R6 tires on the front, it doesnt rub.

Lol, the last autox I went to, I saw a Lingenfelter powered new camaro (650bhp the guy said) running a very technical course for that club on street tires. aaaahahah. I got a better time than him in my sixxer by about 4 or 5 seconds (not bashing him, he was a very nice guy and I'm sure a good driver as well). He had aftermarket adjustable shocks, a sweet looking chin spoiler, the engine compartment was NUTS. That car was badass. Definitely by a longshot the nicest car there out of a good 150 modded cars. He said he's owned every year of corvette from like the mid 80's on, some years he had more than one of. I forget specific details. I'm straying off topic like a **** here but, If he can run on street tires, you can too hahah.
