G Tech SS
Don't know if anyone here has ever used the G-Tech SS performance meter from Tesla electronics or not. It uses GPS signals to tell you just about anything you want to know about your cars performance. I've got a 2011 3.7 L six, about a week after I got it I took it to Gateway Inter Raceway where it went upper 14.7s at near 98 mph. Also checked the 0 to 60 mph time with a handheld stopwatch, it averaged around 6.1 seconds in three runs. I put 3.55 gears in place of the 2.71s and bought a Bama tune for it , I'm using the 87 octane street tune. My 0 to 60 mph times using the good old unreliable method showed a drop of 1.4 seconds. Figured this would get me into at least the high 13s. Well I bought the meter listed above and tested the car yesterday. 0 to 60 mph was 4.92 seconds, quarter mile was 13.42 at 103.9 mph. I don't really know just how fast the car is but if it's close then I'm goning to be really happy. My last car was a 72 Skylark with a 455 and it surely feels faster than it did.

Sorry, tried to post it in Street/Strip but wasn't allowed to. I just figured that here would be OK cause it's not specific to the 3.7 liter Mustang. Yea, reliable track times might be difficult without a quarter mile track within a hundred and fifty miles or so.
