Based off those looks it looks like the frame may of been bent. Sorry but the repairs will run more than the car is worth they're gonna total it out and cut you a check for the value. Use that and get a new car.

 

Luckily the frame wasn't damaged. Already had a shop go look at it to check that. But what he estimated is that it will cost about $1800 in parts.....think they will still total it???? I HOPE NOT! If they do and decide to cut me a check......i would want to buy it back because the amount of aftermarket parts that are on it.....any idea how much they will want for me to buy it back????

Glad you're ok, super sorry about the car, and that you have to go through the BS to make them take responsibility for their fault. Given the age of the car, they'll almost certainly want to total it...

 

It looks like you have: Saleen side scoops, 1999 Mustang Cobra hood, and I belive FR500 rims. I would request not to get the factory hood. I would have made them change the estimate price, because he is at fault and you are not replacing a factory hood. Your Mustang is worth more than $1800. This is a good time to do some cool body mods.

Well they are giving me the run around. And yes thats correct on the hood, wheels, and side skirts. At this point I would be happy with them just replacing the parts with factory v6 i just want to be able to drive it! They wouldn't even give me a rental car i argued with the crazy b*tch on the phone for an hour until she hung up on me!

 

Same thing happened to me regarding the insurance not wanting to pay out. I ended up having to go the lawyer route, as the insurance company left me no choice. I think they do this to wear people down, so they will just end up taking whatever they offer just to end it. Hope it works out for you.

 

Well....i had this HUGE thing typed up on how eventful my day was but when i clicked post it said i had to log in again and i lost everything i had typed. So....I talked to a lawyer she said i have a good case and is gonna shoot for $15k.....so i went and test drove several mustangs today. Ranging from V6 to Cobra. My favorite is a 08 GT/CS. Its BEAUTIFUL and drives like a dream. Has several mods. Check it out and give me your opinion.
