Hello! I bought a 2003 Mustang convirtible yesterday. The top didnt work so I filled it with fluid. It works now, but it goes up slowly, and if I stop, say 1/3 of the way up, it slowly starts to go back down. Also, when lowering top, from about 1/3 to 2/3 of the way down, it drops fast, then goes back to normal speed(what I think is normal)...any ideas about what the problem may be??...thanks, Calvin

 

Is your hydraulic pump building enough pressure? or if it was down on fluid, are you leaking?
