Default Stereo question - Shaker 500 replacement?

Hey all. I have the Shaker 500, looking to replace it with something a bit better. First of all, who makes the speakers, is it JBL, I think they usually do the Ford products??? I would like to get a nice replacement that also has the Ipod controls. Any help would be great!

LOL, know thats funny JBL doesnt make speakers for any ford, the stock system is made by audiophile, it sounds pretty good though. But I didnt get the one with the shaker system for a reason I rather have my own sound system, I just finished it got 1. 12 MTX enclosed in a custom enclosure made by scosche 4. Alpine Components Type R with tweeters and two Rockford Fosgate amps, one rockford capicitor really thick wiring, with an Alpine CDA-9855 head unit with the KCA ipod interface and also have a Alpine CD changer but in order to install it I have to get an adapter to add more than one input. It sounds awesome and to stop ther rattling I put dynamat in the trunk and under the license plate. Its really up to you whatever you want, if I were you get good stuff dont get cheap stuff. Plus if you change out your sound system you could always sell your old stuff got $80 for my stock head unit so you should get more.

I have the Alpine CDA-9851 and got the Alpine KCA-121B Male Ai-Net to Female RCA Adapter (you plus this into where you would hook up the CD changer - $15.99) and Arista 18-3190 6-ft. Cable w/3.5mm Stereo Plug & 2 RCA ($4.99). My husband drilled a hole in the back and put the cable through it but left just enough to come through to hook it up to the iPod or the satellite radio. It gives you CD quality sound with the iPod and the satellite radio. I got everything through Crutchfield and my husband installed everything. Crutchfield (which other places may do this as well) sends you step-by-step instructions on how to remove everything plus with pictures, removal tools, wiring harness, etc for free. I also got free shipping.

The sound quality is really good which totally surprised me.
