14.6 Stop and Go driving....it seems like after the first few tankfulls the milage has went down....I was getting over 300miles/tank now its down to 234 miles/tank.
I am begining to think that I have the bad tank that came out on early 05's, I bought mine in March of 05.

I just bought it almost 2 weeks ago and Ive been getting like 13-14.5 mpg on 87 octane with a standard tranny and all city driving. yesterday I filled up though and went on a 65 mile trip and I was getting like 22mpg, Im hoping it gets better as it breaks in. I dont drive it too hard really, I shift at like 2000-3000 rpm normally around town.

I've been getting 23-25 week in and week out for a year now on 87 octane. I have a long freeway commute to work, so that's a mix of freeway and stop/ go driving of about 70/30.

My mileage really varies with where and how I'm driving. On the highway, I can hit 30 mpg if I stay around 65-70, but push it up to 85 and the mpg drops to around 25.

Around town, the stats are much lower: I'm averaging about 18-19 (no highway) with my most recent tank (87 octane). That's a mix of self-denying, economical-shifting, no-WOTing restraint about 90% of the time and all-out bombing it the other 10%.

Ok, more like 15%

as far as i know , 87 is leaded fuel , and i thought that its unleaded fuel only required for the stang like 91 93 octane....i heard that it would **** up the fuel tank (87 octane)

They haven't sold leaded fuel since the 70's due to a goverment ban on it. 87 is unleaded as are all other grades available at service stations. If you're running your car stock (I.e. you haven't reflashed the computer with a tune designed for higher octanes) then you're just throwing money away when you use anything besides regular.
