Default Jack Stand Placement

Any do's or don't's on jack stands ? I don't want to bend anything if I need to get under it.
Thanks

I just learned where to put the jack stands yesterday. I only put them on the rear, underneath the axel. I think If you place them on the front something may become damaged, but im not sure.

Put them on the frame. Putting them under the axle is not a good idea.

Could this hurt anything if you put them under the rear axel?

It's just not safe. You want the car supported by something solid. I'm pretty sure it's in the manual.

its alright to put them on your axle just block your front tires... but its no good to stand your rear axle if your gonna be working on it.. underneath your rockers there are notches at the 4 corners of your car.. the stands go there when i did my spring kit today.. i riskely lifted the car up with a jack beside those notchs so i can get the stands in there .. i didnt bend a thing and it went well
