Default Mud Flaps / Splash Guards

Ok, looking into mud flaps. Have been for some time as I'm always kicking crap onto my bumper. Now that I have a new one, I hope to keep it that way (regardless of that damn scratch... [:@].

Thing is, I have a GT rear bumper, so would I want to go with the molded GT mud flaps? What's the difference?

Found a decent pair here: http://partscheap.com/mustangaccessories05.htm

Those are some nice prices! Hence the name. I like the remote start /alarm stuff. I can't do the mudflap thing myself. I'll just clean back there and bitch about it.

Haha. Me? Rice? That's the least of your worries.

I've already seen a few stangs with mudflaps and I think it works (the molded guards, the flimsy ones look like crap).

In any case, I'll keep you guys posted with pictures, then you can draw whatever conclusions you want from there.

Not rice at all. April, you say? What's the exact date? I'm 20 minutes away from Knotts.

Well, I was sitting here for 10 minutes thinking about the difference... the mounting points couldn't be any different, they're exactly the same on both V6 and GT. What could it be?

Called Paul at partscheap or whatever, and he took a look and both a GT on the show room and then a V6, and.... DUH! there's a lip on the front and rear of the GT bumper, making it lower. The V6 bumpers are just rounded on the bottom. So the GT splash gaurds are molded to fit on that lip.
