of my car today, left some beauty marks arund the windows lol.. monday they will be on with new paint and better hold.. ford wants 170$ to do em!!! i was like deal!!! lol everyother body shop said 300$ and i was even turned down at some places lol

 

i also went rim shopping.. im gonna be getting the fast wheels octane 18x8.5 in the rear and 18x 8 in the front

 

What kind of scoops did you have? Do you have any pics of the beauty marks before they get repaired?

 

i got the xenon scoops ( a la signature) lol no i dont have any pictures.. the marks are just residue from the 3m tape.. its not worth taking pictures of.. but it sure is ugly lol.. it can be buffed out, ill take pictures of the re-done scoops monday night

 

Missed the sig block! Duh! Scoops are my next upgrade so I kinda freaked when I seen your post. Did the 3M tape go bad or was an inferior tape used?

Cool that the dealer is giving you a better price. You don't see that too often.

howcome you need to have ford install them for you? i was thinking of installing those sooner or later but i thought i could do it myself

 

he's having ford paint them not install them. You can easily do iy urself.

 

im gonna get them to do it while they are at it.. they have access to this sponge thingy thats wet.. its an adhiesive promotor, and as it evoporates it gets really sticky.. they are gonna use it with the 3m tape, to make sure it holds

 

Use "Goo-Gone" to get tape residue, and any other sticky stuff off your car. Will not harm paint and works on most anything.
