okay... well i am considering duals and i thought that our exhaust came down from the headers into a single cat. and then split. but i here h and x pipes mentioned on this forum. does this mean the removal of the cat. and therefore voiding the warranty.

The stock exhaust comes down into (2) two cats, then the 'Y'. Most are cutting before the 'Y' and going full duals all the way back, with an 'H' or 'X' where the 'Y' was. Some have done true duals, and some that had true duals have added an 'H' or 'X'. So, mod away with duals, you will still have 2 cats.

I're read that if you let them go staright back without the crossover you'll get a ricey sound. The crossover lets the exhaust from both sides of the manifold mix and therefore go out through the pipes on both sides. If it doesn't crossover each side will go through one pipe. I also think that the crossover creates more pressure on the exhaust, so you'll get a deeper sound as it flows through. (I think that's how it works with m Pro-Chamber)
