Does anyone have the instructions to replace the steering wheel? I bought a leather wrapped steering wheel, but I've been searching all over the forums to find a good set of instructions. I know I need to disconnect the battery, but is that all there is to it?

Thanks afixer. When it says to "depower and repower", that is just disconnecting the battery right? It says to refer to the General Procedures, but I want to make sure there is nothing else to it. Also, is it going to hurt if I don't have a torqe wrench? It says to put 41LBs on it, but I guess I can just tighten it up really good.

so how do I discharge the capacitor? Just disconnect the car battery?

Are you changing to the Leather steering wheel, defenitely a great purchase, cant wait to see pics. I want to get the steering wheel and the shifter from the Sports Appearance Package.

 

Ok, I got it all done today. I now have a leather wraped steering wheel. I bought it off of Ebay for 120$ or so. I was a little nervous handling the airbag, but it all worked out well. I think it looks 100% better. Thanks afxier for the instructions. I will probably see if I can get a better pic of the final install tomorrow.
