You're all probably thinking, "Enough Polls, already!".

One of the things I love doing, almost as much as driving, is washing my car. A section of my garage is dedicated to my wash supplies for this weekly ritual. I use a soft mitt for the body, a large sponge for the tires and wheel wells, and a small sponge for the intricate cleaning involved with the mags. You could say that I am borderline obsessive-compulsive when it comes to the mags, because I could spend an afternoon fussing over them. When I'm done everything gets shammied (chamoised?).

Almost every other day! Sometimes just a rinse and other times a more in depth detail - depends on the weather forecast and of course bird migration patterns - LOL

 

I agree about the bird. Ever since I got this car birds have really pissed me off to the point I want to kill them all.

 

Could washing too frequently cause any leak issues? I figure as long as you're not using hard hose pressure at any of the sealed areas you would be fine. A car can sit parked in the rain for years and not develop a leak.

 

Oh i never use the hard stream on my baby. I always use a light shower or flat sprinkle. lol light shower w/ elbow grease should get everything out

 

I try to do it every week, but sometimes it's not possible, so it can fall to the next week. At least it's yellow and doesn't show dirt that easily. ^^

 

I picked twice a week because that has been the pattern lately because of rain. But it's really more like once a week. I never imagined that my color would show the dirt so easily...I guess I was wrong. UGH!

at least once a week, unless it's raining a lot out and I keep 'er in the garage.

 

does using my duster count and quick detailer. i cary at least 4 micro fiber clothes quick detailer and my cal duster in the trunk all the time. i always am dusting and touching it up. since i got my car i have had shoulder problems.
