Ok so about a month ago I put on a Street Scene Honeycomb upper and lower grile (chrome) in my mustang... (see sig and avitar) and we have been geting alot of rain here in Napa Cali. so one day on my way to work I walk out to my car and low-and-behold my "all Aluminim/chrome" grills are rusting !!!! now maby its just me but I thought Alumminuim didnt rust and chrome was supose to stop rusting. but anyway I paid $250 for the top and $100 for the bottom, so it shouldn't do this. I am sending it back. but the people I got it from will not pay for shiping, and they won't pay for packageing. but they are going to replace it (thank the lord)
mike is a prety cool guy and you know i was the photo car for it . i ain promisin anything but a call couldnt hurt! im sure he would like to know if they are rusting
Aluminum can't rust, and normally chrome plating doesn't either. Where are you seeing the rust, is it on the edges of the holes or on the plane of the material?
jet i just talked to mike he said to call and talk to debbie 888-477-0707 she will get you and ra and replace the grills ASAP. good luck and let me know how it goes. also just for ref i asked him. the grill is steel plated crome. but it should not rust and he want to see it. and make sure you are happy.
