Default Flowmaster 40's VS Gt Takeoffs

Been driving around on a single flowmaster 40's and went and had dual GT takeoffs put on today and I hate them. Way to quite. The Flowmaster single sounded better. So if I put dual flowmasters back on do you guys think i'll be a happy little mustang owner?

Do you have an H-Pipe?
Seriously mine are deep and actually quite loud. About as loud as no muffler, and they are really deep and throaty. Are yours really new? because the more miles on them the louder and deeper thay get. You can hear mine in the exhaust sticky up top

And actually I listened to your exhaust before i went to the shop today and that was what convinced me to do it.
Man i'm annoyed!! It just seems like the single flowmaster hada better sound then the dual Gt's

yeah i would put several hundred miles on them first. i got mine used and they didnt state miles, but i KNOW mine is louder than the jba single(heard it) and the magnaflow duals (them too) and it soulds better and my vid clip doesnt even do it justice.

so yeah id wait a while, if it doesnt get better you can always change later. It would suck to spend another 400 an mufflers and not be satisfied again.

then again there are those (rygen) who went from gt takeoffs to Flows and noticed a huge difference.

oh yeah Edit: i actually did hear the flowmaster single while they were putting mine on! mine is definately deeper and throatier and at least as loud.

GT takeoffs from an auto will be much quieter than from an manual trans car.

Auto's don't supply as much hp as manuals do, damn torque converter just drains the crap out of the hp. Yea, I hear ya, my buddy in his 00 V6 had GT take offs, and compared to my Mags, they sucked ***, way too quite like you said. I say deal with them for the time being, save up, get an x pipe, that's if you are using the h pipe adaptor thing for cutoff, if not, then just reuse it if it's a real h pipe, then get a set of JBAs, Mags, or Borlas, that will wake her tone up a little.

Now if i go with flowmaster 40's and put resonators inline with them is that going to choke my exhaust note?
