Default Question

I happened to find my barely 4 month old '06 Mustang with the words "Wash Me : ) " written on the hood with someone's finger. After taking it to the car wash and spraying it myself the words will still not wash away... I can't believe fingerprints are that permanent. Does anyone have any advice for how I can get rid of that?

Thanks a bunch.

It's grease from skin imbedded in the wax. Follow the Zaino rules... wash it with regular Dawn then reapply wax

Sometimes it's not just grease. If there's dirt on the car and someone swipes it with a finger, it's just like sandpaper and physically scratches the surface.

Try Meguiars Scratch X if all else fails. And, don't forget to keep a nice coat or two of good wax on your ride!

Your v6 shouldn't have been so dirty. It made God cry and now he's punishing you

Seriously, wash it/ wax it and should be ok, unless the person was a real *** it shouldn't have gone into the paint.

Alright, thanks.

Yeah, I felt very bad afterwards...I even filled her up with gas, because I know how she likes that.

Yes, tisk tisk, but if I saw that $@#@#@er in action it would have been tisk tisk for him. Funny part is, I probably know the person...ohwell :: wax on...wax off ::

Well, guys...It turns out the Armor All Wash and Wax cleaned the "Wash Me" right off and now my ride looks squeaky clean. Thanks for the suggestions ; )
