Are there any power gains with the replacement of headers??? JBA claims a +17 HP and + 16TRQ...are those realistic??

I think that claim was also including their exhaust. The headers will get you a couple of hp, but they will help the car run a little smoother. (and louder)

I wouldn't get headers until you are running a power adder, Nitrous, TC and SC. But if you want a louder exhaust, get them. I heard Excepcion13's MAC LT's and they definitely help in the "louder" department!

I think those gains with the jba headers and just about any free flowing axle back or duals are realistic. Yes, you'll get more out of them with a power adder. But, even without, they really open up the exhaust. And... yeah... the sound! They really bring out the exhaust note... 'especially when ya stomp on it!

the flanged ends are diff on the gt and v6, so youd have to do some cutting and welding
