Just curious, why would you want a push button start if you still have to put the key in?

I've decided to do this to my car. I ordered the illuminated kind with a blue button. I just ordered it and am REALLY hoping it doesn't look cheesey when all is said and done. Should be here in a couple of days so I can install it this weekend. Mod number 2!

i recently just replaced my stock headunit with a ddx-6019 and installed an amp and sub and ran all the wires myself.... is the push button/ignition relatively simple to install???

I'll know for sure in a couple of days, but from what I've read so far it doesn't look like it should be hard.

Im not good with cars but from what i read when you start the car by turning the key you will never have the same crank or firing when the car turns on, with this start button you have the same consistant crank everytime , Im not sure how to explain it.

Is unlocking the steering wheel a mechanical action from turning the key, or is it an electronic action when you turn the key? if it's electronic, there should be a way to bypass it so the key is not needed, problem with that though is that anybody could drive your car off after breaking a window out...might have to explore it a little anyways just to see
