Default newby needs help!!!

Hello,

I've purchase a MOTOBLUE 25% Under-drive Crank (harmonic balancer) Pulley. I now am reading that underdrive pulleys do no have a dampner and could cause premature wear of the crank bearings...... being a newby and not knowing about this wonderful forum before I purchased the pulley, I am not sure if the balancer includes a dampner or how the whole thing works...... Little Help!!!

Thanks!!
