so.... i was telling my dad about the new shelby cobra. and i didn't know very much but he is thinking about adding one to our fleet. P.S i would get to drive it!!!!!!!!! and i wanna know a little more about it. so post away!

Plus the waiting list is going to be killer, who doesnt want it. OH yeah did i mention its a 6 speed!!! My family wants one also. Odds of actually getting it .. 0 lol. Tiger Woods already won one though. He gave it to his caddy, so i have heard.

its only rated at 475hp by the way, not 500, even though it was unofficially dynoed at 489rwhp which is damn close to 600hp (wont be the productioon version because it didnt have emissions equipment hooked up or something.)

Wait unil he hears how much the markup is! Quoted numbers from dealerships are anywhere from 10k over sticker to 50k over sticker.

Don't take our word for it, Google it and get ready for hours and hours of reading. Suffice to say it is the hairy-chested he-man of all Mustangdom. More horsepower and torque than ANY Mustang that has come before. Think about that, that INCLUDES the Boss 429!! Plus unlike the old horsepower kings like the Boss, this new Shelby actually handles and brakes well too. It is the Holy Grail for sure. I only hope that in a couple of years the markups go the way of the dodo bird so some of us regular people can buy one.

although it wasnt mass produced, It remains to be the most powerful mustang ever made by ford

That wasn't made by Ford, it was a conversion. It's in the same category as the Saleen or Roush. Those are not considered factory vehicles because they are converted outside of the Ford factory. The new Shelby on the other hand is 100% Ford
