Ok I got this Stang emblem on my car, but I just bought the tail lamp panel cover the other day. What I wanna do is take the emblem off temporarly and then after I put the panel tint on i wanna put the Stang emblem back on over top of it. I need to know what is the easiest way to take that off without breaking it? And would I need to buy some more adhesive tape or can i just reuse the one that on it after I peal it off. Thanks for any help

Either a heat gun on low or a hair dryer on high should do it

 

Fishing String. Take about 30pd test and wrap it around 2 cylinder of wood so you have a taught fishing wire in the middle. These cylinders are handles so you dont dam near cut your finger off like i did. Slide the fishing string under the emblem all the way across and walla! Its off. Wont scratch the car, wont damage the emblem, i do it all the time.

 

skip the heat gun if you have never used one before.

 

ok how about putting it back on after I put on the Tail Panel Cover on?

 

not sure about the v6, but the gt also has prongs that go inot the trunk and hold it on.

 

If your going to take the Stang off then take that dealer sticker off to [:'(] , maybe you can put the stang there, I really like that stang package a local dealer had one it was an exact match to your car it looks awesome, does your headrest say stang too?

 

Yea it does. People rape my car with there eyes all the time lol. Especially since it came with the 20 inch chrome rims lol. Other Mustang owners with the 05-06 model always look at the car like wtf were he get that from.
