yeah its been a month that im at ford, and the senior transmission tech retired today.. sad times.. well yesturday at work i got called in for a meeting.. sitting there are all my bosses.. im like "oh my, i must have ****ed up bad " (thinking it was teh 6L diesel i overhauled, i accidentally bent the pushrod putting it back together) well the one guy says, drew have a seat, then the other goes, we've been hearing lots of good things about you!. then they continue on by asking me if my request to work 6 days a week still held , which i said yes, then all happy small talk, see how i like things.. they ask me if i was interested in becoming the shops next transmission technician!, i was in shock! , like i dont even have my licence yet and they ask me of this! i was like this is a big step! they went on to tell me, they didnt expect me to be able to handle everything alone right away.. but they see the potential i have they said, and believe i could do it, they are gonna be sending me to ford school, to get a bunch of classes done, so ill be getting a specialty in transmission by the time i write my CFQ (tech liscence) instead of the average tech who would get his liscence then go for tranning in the specialty :P

anywho id thought id let everyone know how im doing, and its frikken amazing!
