I'm from the area, where did you go to get it done? It turned out great!
Tredups in South Elgin did it.
Thanks for the info. I will need to save up money if I want to get my stripes painted. It will have to wait till next year.

Beautiful job...! Well done...Pricey huh?!
It seems expensive, but it's really worth it. It's approximately an 18 hour job, so 1200 makes sense.

Hehe, not a problem. Nope, they didn't touch the yellow. Basically just masked off the area, did the black, and then clearcoat.

Looks great Traken!

I'm debating on doing that pattern or keeping the twin stripes when I get mine painted.

GORGEOUS. Just my 2 cents, if it were mine, the lower, factory stripes would be gone. I'm not trying to stir the pot, just offering another opinion.

That looks sweet, definitely in the top 3 stripe jobs I have seen on this car.

Hehe. No pot to stir.

Originally when I was going to buy my car, I hated the bottom stripe, but when I saw it on the yellow, I really liked it. Especially since my top stripes and side stripes share the same general configuration.

LOOKS AWESOME, but 1200??!!! geeeeeeeeeeeees! im getting mine done in vinyl for just 150... and when they wear out in 4 years, ill replace and perhaps have a change of style and color... couldnt justify spending all that money on stripes... but it looks great

Looks great and how much was it?
A couple bucks short of 1200, which is fairly typical for painted stripes with clear over the top.
